Background and Education

Joining River Valley Orthopedics in 2014, having worked for the Cleveland Clinic for over 5 years as an outreach athletic trainer was a natural and exciting transition for me. My experience providing medical coverage for an Ohio private division I high School along with my work in outpatient and inpatient physical therapy clinics has prepared me to help provide patient care at RVO. My last year at the Cleveland Clinic, I worked in a lymphedema clinic alongside an Occupational Therapist. I graduated from Ohio Northern University with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training and a minor in Exercise Physiology. At ONU I had the opportunity to work with the women’s basketball, softball and soccer teams as well as the football and wrestling teams. I obtained my ROT (registered orthopedic technologist) certification in 2014. I have been a member of NATA (National Athletic Trainers’ Association) since 2008. My interest in orthopedics started in high school when I had the opportunity to work with the athletics for four years as a student aid to the Certified Athletic Trainer. In my spare time I enjoy photography and walking with my Jack Russell, Bentley.
