James M. Pouillon, D.P.M.

Dear New Patient,
Welcome to River Valley Orthopedics! I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some information about myself and my experiences in healthcare. Born and raised in Owosso, MI. I attended Siena Heights University and ran on the track and cross-country teams. I graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio in 1998 with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. I then completed a 1 year podiatric primary care residency program in Baltimore, Maryland followed by a 1 year podiatric surgical residency program also in Baltimore. Following the residency program, I joined the US Navy and for the next three years I provided primary podiatric care to Department of Defense active duty members, their family and retired military patients at the Naval Health Care New England Center in Newport, RI. While in Rhode Island, I took great pride in being a volunteer for the Special Olympics as a skiing and sailing instructor.
Outside of orthopedics, I enjoy running, sailing, hunting and watching my son Luke, born in 2006, grow up.
