Geoffrey A. Sandman, M.D.

Welcome to River Valley Orthopedics! I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some information about myself and my experience in healthcare. Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, I attended Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I received my medical degree from Wayne State University of Medicine, Detroit, MI. I then completed a 5 year orthopaedic surgery residency program here in Grand Rapids. This training was followed by a 1 year trauma fellowship at Orthopaedics Indianapolis in Indianapolis, IN where I treated drivers from Championship Auto Racing Team (CART) and the Indy Racing League (IRL). I have been with River Valley Orthopedics since 2002.
As an orthopedic surgeon, my practice is dedicated to the treatment of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system (the bones and joints of your body). I take pride in being able to provide state-of-the-art, proven procedures to restore you to a more productive life. It is my mission to provide you excellent service, as well as excellent care. I always strive to provide you the same high-quality orthopedic care I would offer to a family member.
In addition to my medical commitments, I enjoy time with my wife and 6 children (our quadruplets were born in 2004).
