Arthroscopy

Arthroscopy allows an orthopedic surgeon to diagnose and treat disorders inside the joint through state-of-the-art instruments that provide a clear view of the joint. The physicians at River Valley Orthopedics are certified to perform arthroscopic examinations, as well as perform arthroscopic surgery.

Arthroscopy is one of the most common orthopedic surgeries in the United States, and we are proud to offer this service to our patients. This technology allows our physicians to give an accurate diagnosis and provide proper treatment of joint problems, ensuring the best orthopedic care for all our patients. And, because arthroscopic surgery is far less invasive, this means less pain and much quicker recovery times.

Elbow

Your elbow is an essential part of your daily life. It allows you to work, play and perform everyday activities. In fact, how well your elbow functions depends entirely on the integrity of the ligaments, tendons, muscles and bones that comprise this all-important joint.

At River Valley Orthopedics, our physicians are well-trained in the numerous surgical techniques and nonsurgical treatment plans designed to restore function and range of motion to patient’s lives. Whether you suffer from years of use or a traumatic injury, a chronic condition or a recent development, you do not have to endure pain or stiffness in your elbow.

Our specially trained physicians understand the intricate workings of the elbow, spending years of dedicating their practice to the new technology, continuing medical education, and diagnosis and treatment for conditions of the entire upper extremity. So whether your condition is due to arthritis, a sports injury, an accident, a work related injury or a congenital disorder, you can feel confident choosing River Valley Orthopedics for your treatment and care.

Foot/Ankle

Foot and ankle pain is a common disorder. Almost 80% of the population will experience foot pain in their lives. At River Valley Orthopedics, we believe that no one should have to live with painful feet. We are trained and equipped to diagnose and treat all problems involving the foot and ankle. We treat people of all ages, for problems such as calluses and bunions, as well as serious injuries and disorders. Many foot and ankle problems can be remedied with conservative care, including correctional orthotic devices. For patients with conditions that fail to respond to conservative care, surgical intervention may be necessary.

Foot and ankle surgery includes the treatment of fractures, repair of tendon injuries, correction of deformity, management of ankle instability and bone/cartilage from sports- related injuries, and comprehensive management of heel pain.

River Valley Orthopedics is dedicated to keeping our patients’ feet in the healthiest condition. Our goal is to relieve patients of chronic pain and to return function and enjoyment to everyday activities.
